Produced in 'New York City's oldest operating distillery' Kings County Distillery has been around since 2010 and are located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Sweet corn vanilla cinnamon and anise. Nose is quieted sense of taste doesn't grow a lot and finish is short failing to impress anyone yet by and large a delectable and tame bourbon.

9.15.17-Three stars for the chocolate whiskey. Not sweet more profound darker chocolate flavor.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Soft fruity notes of citrus oil and pear are detectable through a prickle of cinnamon and plenty of butterscotch.

Taste

A very alcohol-forward palate has plenty of wood spice, vanilla and an underlying note of banoffee pie.

Finish

More woody tannins provide a slightly bitter, spiced finish
